All you need is the hood struts from a 92-95 Legend, a drill, and a tap and die set.

Here's mine, it puts the hood up as far as it will go. This is the best upgrade for someone with a lowered Accord. Numerous times have I hit my head on the hood, or had the hood prop in the way.

I keep forgetting I found 4 sets of these things that actually have good pressure. I haven't even installed the set I was going to put on my car.

Would new ones from a generic brand on eBay work? Like these

You actually don't need a tap & die set. When putting the pivot ball into your hood hinge, just drill a 9/32 hole, and then it will thread in.

If the struts hold good pressure then yes they will and you should not run into any problems.

ORLY! I tapped mine so that it will screw in, that's probably why it took me so long.
