    Missing gasket around door

The rubber tubing that goes around the door on my car is messed up. It looks like it got cut off, and it dangles off the top of the door.

If you follow the chrome trim carefully, you will see where the rubber piece goes off. Its absence has caused the bottom of the door to rust, if you look at the bottom of the door near the wheel. What can i do to fix this? I searched www.slhondaparts.com and could not find the exact part i needed. thanks

Well, the fact still remains that the rubber gasket around that door is missing. Only piece of it remains inside, and it hangs off the chrome trim. How could i fix this?

ummm, have u tried the dealership?? i'm sure you can get it there...or try the junkyards up in college point. about the rust problem, you'd have to go to a shop to see what they'll charge coz no one here can tell by just looking at the pics.

I've got a hole in the exact same spot you do due to rust. Sucks since the rest of the body is nice and shiny and the stupid hole ruins the whole thing since I keep looking at it everytime I look at my car LOL. Anyways, my seals are all intact and it still rusted. I was thinking it was more of a wheel well problem (with that rubber trim there and also how much dirt and moisture builds up behind it).

The rubber seems to be a part of either the chrome trim or the rear quarter glass seal (can't quite tell from your pic, a close up would be nice). I looked it up as well and there's no seperate listing for both of those anyways. So I think the junkyard would be the best bet. It can't be that much if it's used and even cheaper if it's a u-pull type place.

ok 1 it not a gasket, i think what u r talking bout is weatherstriping. 2...hard to fix long term...actually it iumpossible to fix long term lol. trust me...i had the same problem. what u can do is just glue it back on and use some tape. it lasted bout 4months for me....then i just screw it and paid 150 to get both door weatherstriping done. amazin..............no more whistling sound. hahaha 150 well spent i must say. get them at any honda dealership! hope this helps.

              Super glue

The trick here is using a good superglue. The weatherstripping was coming off the top of my driver's door and I used Loctite Gel superglue and its worked like a charm. Almost a year and it hasn't come off.
