    Custom Headlight Idea

    Was bored and thought it'd be interesting to completely gut out a headlight and put square truck headlights in them.

    Of course, filler,and bondo to smoothen it out for a good fit. Then I would black the headlight out.

    I have a spare jdm headlight I can use that is broken, but it looks like it'd be fun for USDM as the corner light would be easy.

    I used PrimeSnipers car

    Just for fun of course. :]

    Got the idea from a isuzu storm;

    would be pretty easy vacuum forming a facade and weld or rivet up a frame for the substandard sealed halogens. It does look dope though, just dont like it because that lamp type would be a downgrade. blnt

          This sealed beam idea is interesting, especially as you have it layed out. I think during low beam operation you would experiance a decrease in lighting performance, but in high beam you could produce more light, since the larger sealed beam units are dual filament, you could run 4 high beams. Also you could wire up the smaller ones to run on reduced power to serve as a DTRL.

            I did this about 17 years ago. I'll see if I can find some photos.

                Looks like a 2G...

                And IDK what lights you'd use but sealed beam HIDs, at least for Jeeps, are stoopid expensive.

                  love it. Clean, yet very aggressive looking. Get some nice diamond cut clear H4 style lenses in there instead of the sealed beam for a bit of an updated modern look.

                  This is about the most revolutionary new modification we've had for a while. I like this because the twin sealed beam look actually looks like it belongs on the CB.

                    Here are some photos of photos.

                    And a photo I found of my car in Racing Sparco's.

                    Oh by the way, those clear bumper lights were home made also. They didn't come out with clear bumper lights for sale until a number of years later.

                      I used circular sealed fog lights for the high beams though.

                        That has been my plan with the JDM headlights I have. I thought I could use the ones out of a '96-'98 TL but they're more integrated with the headlight housing than I thought.
