The EDM Headlight One Piece Bulb Replacement ...

Are they the same as OEM JDM? I blew my low beam and if I'm not mistaken,
is it the H4 replacement? I found the JDM info, but need to know if it's the same.

    Thank!

Yes, the low beam is an H4 and the high beam is an H1 in an H4 socket adapter.

          I got to here:
Removed battery (passenger low beam) and water res ..
I litterally had to pull the rubber cover off. This bulb will not turn or pull out ..

If I remember correctly you need to undo the spring wire holding it in. I don't remember exactly how it releases though.

Got it .. I played with that copper clip, and it slid to the opening, bulb popped out! Wala !!! now to put the battery back in, and the water res. and get up to O'Reilly and find a replacement ...

                  thanks

That shiny wire is a spring. It's hinged on the left side (in this picture) and is hooked under a clasp on the right side (again, in this picture). Press down on the right side so that the hook on the end of the spring is freed from it's catch and swing it out of the way. That is the only thing holding the bulb into place, so it will just slide out after that.

Yep thanks ... going up to O'Reilly's .. he said the 9006 or 9003 (low beam) is the replacement .. I hope this works .. did the driver side like 3 weeks after I bought the car, it's been good ever since .. hope fixing the passenger side will last as long, and I get the right bulb.

Never mind the equivalent numbers. The equivalent is 9003, but there should be plenty that have H4 labeled on them.

                          It's a brand new Sylvania, that is labled 9003 and H4 ..
Everything is back together and in a-1 working order ...

                          thanks everyone ..
