    Trunk Swap issue

Alright i did a 90-91 trunk swap on my 92 2 door coupe and got red/clear tails but somehow the trunk dont seem to fit right... its like up a lil and the inner tails are like half an inch further up then the outer tail anyone had this issue before>?

i can tell u ive SEEN this happen on some cb7s before, and its my justification for hesitating on doing a trunk swap! but, my best bet would to see if theres a rubber stopper or anything on the trunk. if there is, try shaving it down. good luck bro.

might wanna try loosening those three 10mm bolts holding the latch assembly and push the latch up as high as itll go and retighten... might be enough to pull it down level

i tried the three 10 mm bolts and re did it but it looks exactly the same
and i can't really find any rubber stoppers except for two rubber things n i took it off and shut the trunk and it was the same so i put it back on cuz it didnt affect anything.

There's two "mechanics head" screws on the latch. Loosen them and push the latch down(not up). That is the only way to tighten the trunk.

actually its the hook on the car itself, not the trunk. their should be 6 point bolts 1 on left and 1 on right. tighten them and it should even out. dun it before
