Custom Lip Project

Today I decided I was going to try and make my own lip here are some pics of teh progress, I'm starting with a plywood form lip then will go upon covering it with fiberglass and poping out the plywood form. DIY will be written up and posted when the project is complete in the mean time enjoy! also please excuse my 4x4 im in "inspection" mode lol

Nice work did you use a router or just a saw to cut out the wood? Also you may be interested to know I am in the process of making a composites site, I will keep you posted if you like when it comes up. Last year I was making a widebody kit for my accord, but have since changed my taste in what looks good. Also I was making the plug all out of that pink insulation foam and a homemade hot wire. In the end I found I really hated the fumes and gave up, I should've used the more expensive two part polyurathane foam that is easily cut with a saw or sandpaper.

Anyways, are you going to plaster and primer it to make a mold or just make one part?
