here are the pics of my 2.2CL valve cover painted. A friend of mines dad has been doing auto body for around 30 years so I had his help on this. First we doused the thing with Aircraft Paint Stripper. Afterwards we sandblasted the hell out of it. Next was about 5 coats of black wrinkle paint, followed by BLUE (that was the name of the paint) Hi-Temp engine paint. The inside of the crank pulley area was painted with flat black HI-Temp. I filed the lettering down to the metal and we sprayed it with Hi-Temp clear. I think its quite an improvement from the fugly stock grey. Enjoy some engine r ice!

i just want my valve cover touched up in black powder coat. But having "2.2L Non-Vtec Turbo" wouldn't be too bad. Ya know what...gimme a price on that lol...no seriously i want a price

That looks really good, I like the rough texture look. I want to do mine in red, or at least redo the black.

probally not too much. if your willing to send your cover to me i can do it for uber-cheap. i need to talk to my autobody guy about sandblasting though, let me get back to you all on that. pM me if you want me to hook you up.

You want me to do it, or do it your self? If you do it your self i would highly reccomend getting it sandblasted. Other than that probally around 25 bucks for the wrinkle paint, high temp engine paint and clear. PM me if you want me to hook you up.
