Unsure whether to fix or not fix now...help!

Here are pics of the damage. The car has a JDM h22 since 2003 with a lsd auto transmission installed less than a month ago. Was running great before the accident and from what I can see theres no damage to the engine or tranny.I need opinions on to fix it or get another cb7 and swap everyhting over. Also not shown in the pics are my front wheels. Both sides are not centered in the middle anymore and are pushed back towards the doors from hitting a curb head on. So I need front body and suspension work done. And new radiator parts. Also the brake pedal wont go down and the car doesnt start because of the blown battery fuse I hope. I thought this could be a easy fix but seeing now theres suspension problems thats gonna add even more to fix is making me wonder if its worth it.

Judging by these pics I think the parts I need to buy are:

    -front radiator support frame
    -new radiator
    -radiator fan
    -Ac Cond. fan
    -driver side headlight
    -front bumper
    -grill
    -new windsheild
    -hood
-what ever to fix the suspension??

Is this worth the fix or get another cb7??

    Front radiator frame support bent.

Passenger headlight is fine and the frame bent in the middle and above the driver headlight.

The radiator is cracked on top and the fans are pushed inward. One fan is slightly against the motor mount and the other fan has the hose between it and the header. The hose is a nose hair away from the header.

More info on the accident here http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=45447
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

that damage is mostly all cosmetic and easy to fix. Search on here as I know there are plenty of threads about them being fixed. I dont have time to search or go into detail since i gotta hit the road to the NC meet here soon, but parts you will need are:

upper rad support (middle) with latch and the vertical support
    hood, grill, headlight, front bumper
    radiator, and possibly a fan.

When I did the same thing but quite a bit worse, it took me 300 to get it running again, 400 with a new hood. So check out the other rides that have had the same thing happen (plenty), and all the instructions will be in there.

I think you should fix it. CB7 Accord prices are somewhat inflated right now. If you get get it fixed perfectly (get frame within specs) for a reasonable price then go for it

Thanks guys for the advice. I just spoke to a local body man and he said he can pull and straighten out my rad support, install the headlight, get the bumper out and on, and get the hood to fit again for $600. It seems alittle high to me but hes gonna be coming over to my house todo it. This doesnt include any of the parts I need.

        Hows this sound?

is having him pull and straighten the radiator and doing the rest yourself out of the question?

Pull out your bumper, 6 bolts and some screws. Have him pull the radiator out and straighten it all. Pay him for that. You can buy OEM headlights for a DECENT price here LINK, can get them cheap from a junkyard, or can get JDM one pieces.

The hood doesn't fit because the latch is bent in right? The hinges aren't bent right? If he straightens radiator, he'll straighten the latch as well and you can replace the hood yourself. Hell, you can even use the money you would of spent on labor that you saved to buy a carbon fiber hood

It is not, Ill be able to take over from there but then Ill have to get the suspension fixed. My front tires are almost touching the back of the wheel well on both sides from hitting the curb directly on.

Your right about the bumper being easy to come off I just have to get to the bolts behind the bumper lights which will be alittle difficult since its smashed in. Thanks for the link. And about the carbon fiber hood, I already have one in my room that was taken off a few weeks before the accident while my tranny was bein dropped. lucky me

Other good news, I bought the battery fuse amp and installed it just now and power is back ! Not only that but my baby fired up with no problems woohoo!

250 bones tops for repair and thats even high dont take it to a shop at all unless its for paint thats what i do for a living if you have to rent a portapower its a frame tool

ok so heres the speel on this the fram shoudlnt need to be pulled at all a rubber mallet to bump the top back in spec and replace the top rad bracket the hood both headlight brackets are prolly toast along with corners rad is prolly toast maybe good it should be a weekend project really and being its white you could prime it with some high build (filler primer) sand it to 400 shoot the white on even outside and clear it and it shouldnt be noticeable there is a product called finish restore u shoudl rub the whole car with after you get that done also an excellant oportunity to pull the ac tow hooks and so on

Hay thanks. Well today I started messing with it and I got of the upper part of the rad support off and hammered it back to being straight with the help of the curb. I did the same thing with the vertical suppport and got everyhting lined up back on the car.

I also had room to stick my foot under the bumper and popped it out. I did some more pulling and pushed the headlight support out but I bet I could do a better with the bumper off but I dont have a extension yet to reach the bolts behind the lights.

It just started raining so for sunday i can hopefuly get the bumper off, drain the radiator and take the whole assembly out, then bend back the rest of the supports bent. The cooling lines looked fine. This is truning out easier than I thought! Pics of the progress later.

                        update

Saturday I had a hour to see what I could start. Rain sucks! Just was able to get out and straighten a couple rad supports. Wasnt hard at all.

Sunday I got the bumper off and again it was easy. Im never putting on a lip with the bumper still on again. I got to push out the headlight support and get it out. Had to do pushing, pulling and breaking next to get out the radiator, ac condensor and fans. It was all squished in.

With the help of my friend we got everything out. Man it felt good seeing no damage to the motor and tranny

My boy joey who looks like jesus haha

                        Roomy again

End of 2hrs of work. Today we are gonna hook up the bottom support frame to a chain attached to his truck to pull it out. Then tweak the frame to get all the replacement parts in. Only thing that wasnt broken was the radiator fan. Hopefully everything keeps going good.
