Parts compatibility between coupes and sedans

With the scarcity of genuine Honda OEM parts I don't need to tell anyone here how difficult it is to find one. Though there are still some around that are usually shared with other models and years. Specifically what I'm wondering about is exterior mirror housings (colored shells) and windshield washer nozzles. My guess is yes as they are listed for coupes but I wonder why?

I can tell you the outer housing are the same between coupe and sedan item 6 and 13, however the plastic triangle piece that connects the mirror to the door are not compatible. The sedan ones are bigger then the coupe.

For the nozzles, I don't know why they would be any different. But I have never looked into it.

That's what I was thinking. Makes you wonder why they're listed as coupe only and not both. The good news is as of this date they are still available if anyone is interested. They're on Honda Parts Now.

I've also run across a few NOS items on EB and had a thought. I know they're strict rules about lising items for sale on the site but wouldn't it be useful if we had a section that ppl could post links to new or NOS items they found from any source?

For example I've run across a NOS LH outside mirror assembly in green on EB. If there was a section for exterior parts that I could throw a pic and link to wouldn't that be useful to the community even though I have no connection with the item?

So I actually got the Ok from Deev to start doing that. I posted OEM visors I came across, I just mentioned I don't vouch for the person as I don't know them. So with that said post them up on the ebay classified section as you come across them

          Thanks Grumpy!

I know it will be work but I guessing it will also be beneficial...

There are a couple of salvage yards, including a Honda salvage yard, near me that have tons of stuff as well. If anyone is looking for anything in particular and it's no longer available hit me up and I'll go on the hunt also.
