If you are a JDM-freak, if look REAAAALLy careful a can tell a knockoff type-r emblem and a genuine honda Red H. From a photo probably not, but if they were side by side u could tell...there is actually difference in quality that will set one apart from the other. Thats why u can get 2 for 29.00 on e-bay compared to like 45+ just for one legit H.

I had a authentic type-r H back in the day....but some asshole emblem jacked me at a local arcade fun center.... I was going to leave it off but the 3M tape took some of my clearcoat with it so I threw on a knockoff. The knockoff didn't last too long and the sun started turning the RED into more of a orange/red color. All the colored emblems are made cheaply and I think the quality of the plastic is real bad compared to the real deal. I had a friend with a White emblem and the plastic shield on the emblem came off in the Chevron carwash....

I learned my lesson and decided not to put anything expensive exterior wise on my car thats easy to pry off.....speaking of which, some asshole also ripped off my JDM Option decals off the sides of my car too at my school.... they made off with one but the other they ripped.

Poor JDM freaks....

To tell u the truth, I wasn't actually mad but laughed in disbelief that someone went that low to steal vinyl off my car! That must be one broke @ss jdm junkie!

As long as it works for you it's cool. I don't have an emblem on my trunk because the car was without one when I bought it. But good find if it really is the true JDM emblem.
