Getting the Accord painted (need help guys)

Okay as some know I almost totalled out my Accord and it wasn't looking good. Well, I got word today that it will be fixed. The front will have to be totally repainted because of the wreck and I already had the side moldings painted previously. So I was thinking what the heck lets paint the whole car:

    Specs:
90 Ex coupe burgandy (the brighter lighter color not dark ugly color)
    Stock OEM wing w/led
Stock OEM Honda mud flaps ( I like them because it keeps my car cleaner...plus its seattle and it rains alot)

Painting it OEM color to make it cheaper and easier.
    Shaving rear emblems.
Not doing any major shaves (ex. moldings, handles, etc. keeping it stock)

    What else should I do?

Should I paint the lower ex lip on the bumper, sideskirts, and rear lip to make it color matched or leave it black?

Should I color match the mud flaps? Leave them black? Or just remove them?

Should I add more clear coats to it? Maybe a pearl (what does this do)?

Keep the spolier or shave it off?

Just need some suggestions on what I should do. I'm new to this whole paint your entire car again thing. I want to keep it same color but clean it up. If i paint the side skirts I think that will be best to keep from having to armor all it all the time. Let me know thanks. ::

imo shave the spoiler and the emblems, remove the flaps and paint everything BUT the front and rear lips and the skirts.i've seen this done on a car your color and it looked good imo. if your going for the "jdm" look then i think that is you best bet
