ugh, i hate those on any car, especially the beautiful cb7. Why would anyone want thatk?As many of those as i've seen on older cars, i've honestly enver seen a single piece of luggage strapped down on one. Serves it's purpose i guess but for the 364 days out of the year you dont use it you just have metal bars running down your trunk.

i think the 3rd gen came with it standard

all i see is luggage racks on those things.

You dont use that to store luggage but to seat the mother in law when you take long trips. You can strap her down tight and still check on her when you drive. Its better then placing her in the trunk. Just needs a eject button to let her off when you get close to her home.

Well thats how I would like to use it.

Funny thing is I say this yesterday on my way home from work and guys trust it looks hideous as hell...it added bout 40yrs to the cb.
