    HELP!!! Won't stay clean....AAAGH!!

Here we go...my engine bay is really dirty...so I took some wax and grease remover and some toels and went at it. The actual body where the paint is all came out spiffy, but most of the engine components wern't so lucky. My intake and shit just seemed grimey...so I cleaned that...after it dried it just got grimey again...AAAAGH! The header cover did that too. Some of the stuff did come out real nice...most just stayed the same. the hood will take like a full can...lol...really really grimey. Please...any tid-bits would be awesome!!

pressure washer and simple green...just did mine again today
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

from now on i will be deleting posts of all people.. that dont belong, i dont want 5 people repeating one persons lead of telling somone that they either posted in the wrong section of apperance, which is in the main apperance part, so hes not exactly in the wrong... i dont want people repeating somones other posts saying "hey check the detail section" .. and the next person saying "yeah check the detail section".. thats post whoring.. i will be deleting crap like that... this is a warning to all..

okay, so back to the subject, a good way to finish off cleaning the engine bay is.... and i shit you not... with armor all tire foam. after you've simple greened and waxed the the painted areas, spray some tire foam on the hoses, valve cover, and intake. something that i do (just because i've heard it helps) is to spray foam, shut the hood, and then turn on the engine and let it run for a few minutes until it burns off most of the excess foam, then wipe off the rest. i haven't cleaned the engine bay in about 3 months and it still looks amazing.

It was completely relavent! lol. Te stff that was the worst was black...tire shine is black. So, if you use tire shine o the black parts it gets glossy. That was what I was referring to.
