I just put an S2000 antenna on my 91 LX. Looks great and all, but I am a moron. Instead of getting the female --> male antenna converter, I cut the antenna wire and got to the middle of the wire, the little tiny antenna wire I crimped to a ring clamp and put the ring around the post for the antenna, but the reception is still terrible.
In the antenna wire, there is copper as a shield around the antenna wire. Does that need to be linked or something? I really want to finalize the project but I cant get the reception right.
Can anyone help me?
