interior door handle screw covers can be found at lowe's

i was in lowe's in the hardware section and i saw hinged screw covers that looked a lot like the one found in an accord, so i bought them. can be had for pocket change.



i took a drill and bored out the hole to make the cap close.


here's the result.



i did see a small selection of colors, such as tan, burgandy, black, ect. it looks pretty close to stock.......about the only difference is the cap has a slight dome to it as to where the stock has a flat top. later.

Did you happen to see other shaeps/sizes as well? Im trying to think how many of these there are on our doors, but all i can think of is the one in the door handle, as pictured, and the one inside the door-mounted handle/rest.

i know this thread is kinda old, but im missing all of my small ones. (4...Ithink) what section of lowes did u find them? they remind me of the caps that they use in camper trailers to hide nuts and screws.
