How do i remove the shift knob? searched everywhere for a thread but can't find one. I tried twisting right but it won't go since its attached to the boot

counter-clockwise. Thats the only way. it may seem like its going to break but believe me its not.
edit: and pull the boot apart from the knob.

It just unscrews lol you should have posted this in the beginner section. Im wondering how to get the ebrake handle off, I havnt searched yet though.

I think you have to pinch the sides of the shift knob as well once you have unscrewed and are actually removing it.
