new mirror with outside temp...

hey i was wondering if i could install a new mirror that told the outside temp and possibly direction im traveling?

i have a pic to let you know what im talking about.

I dont see why not, just get everything u need off the other car.

I'm sure there is a company that may produce some aftermarket mirrors like that....BUT most newer cars you see with those mirrors had them put in as factory port options. Meaning they were installed at the port.

There is definitely sensors and wiring needed to be installed...so not an easy task.

Yeah, the aftermarket ones are pretty expensive. But sure you could just find wiring diagrams for a car that had them, and do 'er up.

I agree, just try and find it from antoher car, because mirrors like that arent car specific, and just have a professional install it. It should cost around 100 bucks to pay someone to install it. I paid 75 to get it installed in my Civic, before I took it out when it got wrecked....so You can get it done pretty cheap, just shop around
