Ok, since I have switches such as a JDM half-mast switch and heated seat switch, and a headlight washer switch and 2 of 3 with no wiring harness, I'm going to do a trial and error with the pins on the back to find which pin combination allows the switch to illuminate, but what would be the best way to do it without potentially blowing fuse after fuse? Have some sort of test light, run a splice or two off an another accessory light to test, or would a 9volt battery and some wires be enough to light up the teeny-tiny bulb?

how many wires are on the harness?
is it working normally like it turns on and off the unit that you are doing?
...so how many wires are left over and not used? What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

I have zero wires for 2 switches, and the one switch with wires is still on its way over the Pond from the UK.Former: 90 Accord EX Coupe, 93 10th Anniversary in Frost White

a 9 volt should have enough power, b/c all thats in that switch is a led probably and in my electronics class we used 9 volt batteries to run all of our experiments and they have 5 or 6 leds in themIn memory of Jameel Johnson 4.30.05--You will never be forgotten...

Perfect! A 9V worked like a charm. They're tiny little bulbs that are in there- no LEDs.
Now I just have to hard-wire it and I'll have an illuminated switch.
