    steering wheel issue

    hey everybody i'm new here i've been checkin out this site for awhile and it seams really helpful so i decided since i'm h22'ing my accord it only makes sence to join a phat site like this.
    -my issue is i'm taking out my interior to paint it black cuz light blue just isnt doing it for me, i have all the bolts off the only thing that is stopping me is the steering wheel, i have the back cover off but i cant figure it out, i need help , thanks.

    WHAT YOU what to do it take off the "H" logo in the middle of the steering wheel with a small flat head screwdriver. Then get a 17/18mm socket with a long extension and a long rachet and break it loose. then pull on the steering wheel abd your done. JUST MAKE SURE BEFORE YOU TAKE OFF THE STEERING THAT THE WHEELS/STEERING WHEEL IS STRAIGHT. IF YOU DONT DO THAT WHEN YOU GO TO PUT ON THE STEERING WHEEL ITS GOING TO BE OFF-CENTER. GOOD LUCK

      wish you woulda posted yesterday...i just pried the whole horn piece (with the H still on) off...my horn doesn't work, tho...

          no biggie...i think i just need to splice a wire to the horn button...gotta look at the manual...i like the new steering wheel much better.

              yeah i almost pried off the horn piece and i was like ther has to be an easier way i dunno why i didnt think of that but thanks Oneoff
