SES light not on, but check for pending codes

The solution for me when I had this problem was the wheel speed sensor that fed information for the ABS system had failed.
It really is a labor of love making a neglected CB7 with "normal wear and tear" into something worth being proud of.

if u pull your center consol out(doing this from memory from 86 accord)...the e-brake end, look on the passenger side there should be a switch with a wire going to it.....its not really a switch is a pressure pad non the less, check for faulty connection, it might be stuck, cause all it does is push's a plastic peice with a metal end down to make a connection with the live wire, when u raise the e-brake it stops the connection and thats how your light gets turned on....quite simple.... thats where id start..belive me youd know of your e-brake was on or not....not to be mean but you gotta pull it up to have the light on...... ...for the door ajar one its probably moisture.....my brake light was good and i came on.....i was told by a honda tech it was probably moisture in the tail light.....best thing to do is tap a tiny hole in the tail light so water can drain out....make sure the hole isn't noticeable, get it as small as possible

hmmm....clutch= e-brake...ground somewhere maybe....try what i posted up above see if u can get the light to go on when u push down on the plastic part to make the connection with the e-brake up, if so then maybe each time u press the clutch in its hitting something metal and causing the circut to continue?? i'm still learnin so take my advice to your own will...cause i think that when you re-lease the e-brake down it hits the plastic part and pushes a spring down that has a metal peice to it and it grounds out so the light goes off....correct me if i'm wrong.....like i stated before i dont know if this has changed since my 86 accord....

Are you speaking about your "brake' light, the light that comes on when the e-brake is applied? If so it could be a hydraulic issue,my master cylinder is leaking at the brake booster. This happens to me every month or two.Check you brake fluid level

^^ i was thinking the same thing driving back from schoool this afternoon, when ever your brake fluid gets low the brake light will come on, my dad's legend did it and honda checked it out and said it was just low on fluid and to keep an eye on it.....

brake light staying on even when the ebrake is down means the brake fluid is low. check the res. and fill it!
