    motorized rear windows coupe?

    so i cant find anything searching motorized, rear,w window or windows or anyt combination. so my question is has there been a kit for motorized rear windows or has anyone used rear minivan window motors to do this or will i be the first ?

    that would definately be a task do u mean for them to roll down like the fronts or just automatically pop out???

      automatic out i know of minivans that have motorized rear windows that open like our rears i was thinking fab in the motors on a relay switch

        oh ok i thought you was talking about rolling down kinda like the legends i think that would have taken some work but good luck anyway

          i was thinking about doin this a while back, some mazdas have power rears too...so they dont have to be on a minivan, but def a good idea, if you get it working post a DIY with lots of pics

            Ya that would be hot. I saw a legend with roll down rears on a coupe it was so nice.

              late 80's (86-89) acura legends have the motorized rear trinagles.

                onlu hard part is gonan be finding a pair of these rear vent window motors on a mazda or minivan in a junkyard here comes the fun

                  I started to try this about a year ago...I went to the junkyard a few times, and couldnt find any that mounted up the same way because newer vans are mounted differently. A 90'ish dodge caravan had very similar rear window motors to what would work, but never found one. Didnt know that some legends and other cars had them. Good luck on getting them to work. If I ever found some motors, I would probably do it since I always roll with the windows down.

                      ok so i finally picked up a couple motors from the junkyard that shoudl work pretty good simple braket mods and a lil paint ill keep you all posted and post some pics later b4 i start modding the brakets

                          this is something we discussed years ago on accordracing... all you really need to do is find a way to mount them, then wiring wouldnt be too bad.

                          im looking forward to finally seeing pics of somebody getting it done. if i had a coupe, its definately something i would have tried already!
