Has anyone ever done or know if its possible to swap a 93 se dash w/ passenger side airbags into a 92 ex w/o passenger side airbags? Are there any kind of sensor issues i may have to get around or deal with?? I know i may have add one for the P. side, or can i just run it off the original sensor??Any info is greatly appreciated.

Not worth it dude. It would be very hard to wire and if you were ever in an accident your health insurance company probably wouldn't cover any injuries incurred in the passenger seat due to an airbag improperly installed. I don't even know what would happen with the auto insurance. My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

itll all swap in, minus that one connector... which, honestly, id leave disconnected.
its probably connected parallel to the other airbag (like you suggested) but what if the SRS unit doenst put out enough current to pop either airbag?

do not listen to them just get the se SRS unit and plug the D*m thing in. the dash has 9 bolts and 6-9 electrical connectors. A little hint unplug the drivers air bag and use the SRS Red short connector and i think you have to drop the steering wheel and the dash will come out.da9b16 is a great seller very quick shipping and great parts

everything will fit and (should) plug straight in, minus the passenger airbag. when using a dashboard from a car from a different year/trim/tranny, check to make sure all the connectors fit into your equipment, like the gauge cluster and such, since different CB7s had different gauge cluster connectors. if all the connectors match up, swap it all in... if not, you can unclip the wiring harness from your old dashboard and install it in the new one.Originally posted by ACE85So if not interested the dash will fit just dont plug in the air bag ??? Correct
and dont be scared of airbags, just dont apply power to the connectors and nothing will happen. they supply covers for the ends of the connectors (the red things) to be safe, use that, and itll never pop.
