im sure any boot would do you just have to glue it down or use strips of velcro in case you want to take it off one day or double sided tape...oh, and make sure its loose enough to make all the changes down to D1

you can remove the center console- there are a total of 6 screws:
2 at the front
2 in the center
and 2 in the rear (behind the front seats).
you'll find that the center console is actually two pieces.
once you get the console off, that will leave the shifter exposed. you would then get whatever shift boot that fit (which is the hard problem) and slide it over.
after that, you would put the center console back in place.
as far as what shift boots will fit over an automatic shifter, extend all the way to the shift knob, and look good, i have no idea.
best of luck in your endeavor if you decide to do it.
absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
