I was fooling around today and took out my drivers seat and sliped my CRX Si seat in there, just to see what it looked like with it in there (someday I want dual Si fronts), and I wanted to see how low it was over stock buckets. well I found out it is only a tad bit lower and the seat size is perfect. But I then took it out to put my factory seat in. The damn braket slipped out and left a gash in my door. There's hit 1. So I said "damn it" and moved on. I then sized up the brackets on the Si seat to the CB7 seat. The CB7 seats are like side mount. There goes all hope of Si buckets in the CB7. Hit 2. So after my many failed attemts I got ready to bolt up the factory seat again (after trying for 10 minutes). All of the bolts went in fine but the front one closest to the door, by the trunk release. That one would go in the pop back out. Somehow I got it in...after like an hour (basically strike 3). How, what a day of progress.
So my questions are these:
1. What the hell is up with my corner braket mount? It's not a bad bolt, I tried others...
2. is there any possible way of bolting the CRX seat to the CB7? I would love dual Si buckets in there...
Next project...taking out the floor mat. It'll probably take an hour too...
