    short to boot

Ok though the answers are right in my face id rather ask and be sure.
Looking for a short shifter for my 92 accord. Only find the adapters that allow for a shorter throw but keeps the stock height. So is it true ill have to fabricate my own.
And how hard is it to change the shift boot, I keep hearing that I can’t, and that it will be a mess. Any help……

I have a Forbidden Motorsports short shifter and I love it. It's 1/2" shorter than the Prelude lever and the throw and feel are amazing. I know some people on here have P-Spec's too and I hear those are good quality as well.
And shift boots are easy cake to change, just take the console off and you'll see exactly how it goes together and apart.

yeahman17 makes and sells them...I have one.

If you do get one from him, I suggest that you do a shifter bucket drop when installing.

however, he just moved and won't be making anymore shifters until he finds a welder...which might be a while. He just moved so he has other priorities first..so join the line and wait for him to get back up and running

there you go. both of those together cost about 15-25 bucks depending on the shift knob you get and perform really well. i bucket dropped, cut the shaft, and relocated the pickup on mine. the shift is short as hell but still feels really positive.
