    ehh int. paintin problem

I used Duplicolor Laquer paint white, to paint the black hard plastic center console/cluster thingy that comes on. All i did was use rubbing alchohol, get it nice and clean, then just put the white on, and as soon as i put it on, it had lil spots on it that went black like the color of the original plastic.. is this normal? should i just wait til it dries and re coat? i have clear coat as well, and i'll put that on too. WHat could i do to get this to stick? wrong paint maybe? i heard laquer is the best

it sounds like there is something on the plastic that is displacing the paint.....something like dash protectant that uses silicones and is difficult to remove. later.

x2.. strip down the white paint with laquer thinner while it's wet. it would be hard to even it out with a second coat with those spots.
