SE dashboard in another model?

I found a dashboard from a 4 door SE, and I'm wondering if it will fit in my DX coupe. I know the dashes are supposed to be interchangable, but I'm not sure about the SE dash since its shaped a little different.

No I don't sorry. The dashboard is in a car at the junkyard. It seemed to be shaped the same as all the others except the area around the clock is different and the top isn't sunken it because theres a hole for where the passenger airbag was.

Ive asked this question before cuz i was wandering if i could swap a dual-airbag SE dash into my single-airbag EX dash. If i recall correctly someone said it was possible, but in order for the airbag to work, youd need to trace all the neccessary wiring, fuses, etc etc and it may not be worth the trouble.


Now if your going strictly for aesthetics and you can get the airbag closed back up on that side, i imagine it'd work. I dont see why not. Im pretty the inside of the SE's werent shaped differently.

Yeah this dash in the junkyard doesn't even have the airbag on the passenger side, someone took it out, and honestly, I don't want it. If the dash fits, then I was just going to fiberglass that hole in or I can use it later on for gauge pods, or a monitor, etc.

coupe and sedan are different. you can change from any cb7 as long as it the same # of doors.

I wonder if that pass. airbag is the same size as the Civic and Integra ones, then you could use the JDM airbag tray, that'd be pretty neat if they're the same size/shape, which they prob. are.

Fairly sure 4/2 door dash is the same

I swapped a black dash out of a 4 door and I have a coupe. So I would assume your junkyard dash would fit.

All dashes are interchangeable. It will fit fine, just you would be kinda missing the point of the SE dash, which is the passenger airbag. IMO the older dashes look better, because the SE airbags were kinda retrofitted.
