The JDM bumper on my CB7 is held up with zipties on the sides and it makes a lot of noise when I'm driving on the freeway. I didn't look thouroughly, but it didn't seem like there was anywhere to bolt the bumper down to the actual body. Is this common when using these bumpers?

the jdm bumper should have a support with mounts just like the stock USDM one. i'm thinking you only removed the bumper COVER and not the whole bumper support itself. the cover is held by clips ON the bumper support. the bumper support is held on by two nuts in the engine bay (under headlight), two bolts behind each bumper light, two clips under the car (adjacent from the front lower valence lip), and the fender clips (which SLIDE; do NOT remove those two screws, they hold the clip).
here is the DIY on how to remove a USDM bumper. the JDM one should be the same or close to it (since the JDM bumper doesn't have a larger support used to pass 5mph bumper tests for USDM cars).
