Question about fogs...

has anyone on this forum every retrofitted projectors in OEM Fogs? was just thinking of the potentials n i think it would look pretty sweet. Has anyone else thought of doing this?

I dont think it would work out because of the cb7's fog light design. It's not clear/see through unlike the headlights. Its more transparent with the front glass. Might look hazy. That's just my speculation.

thats true because of the ridges inside the lenses... i wonder if that would affect it?

your putting those projectors in your OEM fogs?

should be sweet can't wait to see how they turn out... i want to see how the light output on the fogs will be affected and how the cut off will be manipulated by the lenses if at all

Yeah me too, I will take my time and do it slowly for better and cleaner result, after that ill trow in some 3k hid kit for a super yellow look

Again, this is just my opinion. If u were to do a projector retrofit in a oem fog light, I think it would look like a bright yellow circle in the foglight, not retangular. Kind of like this.. [ O ] instead of this..[[ ]] . Imagine the inside is suppose to be yellow or whatever bulb/HID it is. This is just what im thinking. I do like the idea. I'm just trying to imagine what the output would look like

Isn't it the same with the headlights retrofit?? Except that those lenses are clear but the the idea and look would be almost the same [ O ]

Arent the fog lenses plastic? If so, just sand down the light diffusing ridges on the inside and you're golden. Ive actually done it to a glass lense but that was a roral bitch and ill never do it again. Just sand a square portion of the inside lense until smooth then hit with up to like 3000 grit paper and it "SHOULD" be clear as glass.

What exactly are those out of? I know some Subaru Legacy's had projector fog lights but they are hard to find these days.....

I think they are Lexus yellow caps, because someone here is selling 2 sets of this ones and that's what he says they are from.....but idk
