are our turn signals supposed to illuminate the side that is turned on with a brighter light from the front corner lense?

it's hard to explain, so i'll give an example...
in my friends altima, when he puts on his turn signal, the side that is turned on get's brighter from the corner lense, illuminating the ground for better vision of the road/curb.

No it does not, most cadillac's, maxima's etc do that but that is somewhat newer/older technology.No more cb7, 7 years of ownership and 196K on the ticker before she was sold
