h3-c = h3?

my oem foglights came with bulbs in them marked as "h3-c".

are these bulbs the same as regular h3 bulbs?

if you're looking for regular bulbs, yes they are difficult to find. most Lexus dealerships should have them in stock though since most of their fogs use the h3-c bulbs. these are the bulbs i am using now, and they aren't bad, not HID bright but they still light up the road well during rain and fog. if you want brighter and/or the HID look, check anywhere that sells PIAA. PIAA makes a few different types-HID look in different strengths, plasma yellow and ion white. i have also been told that HyperIndustries makes good h3-c bulbs. so i would imagine their are a few others, probably most are going to be Japanese like PIAA.
