anyway to check OE fog switch

is there any way to check a fog switch for being blown/fried other than plugging it up all the way and finding out that it doesnt work lol. any sort of way to use a volt meter to determine functionality

using cpmikes diagram http://****.com/pics/hooking-up-fogs.jpg use your meter to check for continuity between pins "C" and "E" with the button pressed in, no continuity= no good
