    Touch-up paint?

Has anyone used touch-up paint on their car with any level of success? My car has a lot of little scrapes and such, and I'm looking for a way to fix them up without repainting the entire car. If it helps any, the paint is Rosewood Brown. Basically, any experiences with touch-up paint, tips on using it, what brands to get or avoid, etc. would all be appreciated. Thanks!

edit: Here are the pictures of the main areas I want to fix.

to get the BEST results, go to a good shop, and have them match the paint, and make you a bottle of touchup paint. You might pay alittle more, but the results will be best.

I ended up getting license plate filler cap things from the dealership for free. Only thing was, they were silver. So i picked up a can of Duplicolor from Advance Auto Parts and sprayed them. They came out pretty good IMO. I don't have really good pics but here's one so you get the idea. (and i know the underside of my hood looks like crap. just look at the bumper).

My dad manages a collision repair shop, so he can get me color-matched touch-up paint no problem. My only concern is that some of the scratches are pretty big and deep (mainly the ones on the bumper), and I'm not sure how to go about filling them in without it looking bad.

I think the touch up paint on non metal surfaces doesn't look as good. You should consider atleast touching up the hood so it doesn't get worse if its down to the metal.

seems like you'd be able to get a paint job for next to nothing. later.

well it would be best if you just went to a shop since its not that much...but if you really want some paint you could try automotivetouchup.com they sell OEM color paint in spray cans so its easier to use..the only problem is that its the OEM color so it will likely be a different shade from the rest

Yeah, I thought so too, but apparently decent paint is pretty pricey, my dad said it'd be around 300-400 bucks for the paint, if we sprayed it ourselves. So I'm looking into just touching up the major spots. I'll most likely only have the car another year or two anyway, and I can't justify spending 3 or 4 hundred bucks to repaint a 15 year old car that has an automatic transmission with almost 225,000 miles on it.
