    Mmmm...detailed the cb

As the title says, I detailed the Accord a while back, just didn't get around to making a thread until now. If you wanna know what products I used, or want more pictures, here's a link (cause I don't feel like re-typing it all):

    http://autopia.org/forum/click-brag/...92-accord.html

Anyway, here are some pics. Sorry about the lack of interior pics, one of my buddies is in the middle of getting kick panels made for me, and I'm waiting till after they're in to get pics.

    Swirls before:

    After:

Different side of the trunk than the before pic-

Now the trim is darker than in the pics (I used Mother's Back to Black on it, which I'm impressed with...no more stains!), and I have sealed the wheels with Mother's SynWax (same as I used on the paint) because I won't be able to clean the car all summer, and I don't want the brake dust to cake onto the wheels.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with it, but I think I can get the hood a little better, so I'm going to go over it again toward the end of the summer. Also, I want to re-paint the wiper arms flat black. Comments/suggestions/criticism always welcome. Thanks!

Haha, thanks for the compliment. IMO, it's nowhere near TypeG's yet, but hey, I'm working on it.

What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

          Retro!

First I washed them with Meguiar's Deep Crystal soap at twice the recommended concentration. Then (after the rest of the car was done) I polished the wheels by hand with Mother's Mag & Aluminum polish, and sprayed the tires with Meguiar's Hot Shine tire foam. The scrapes on the wheels really bug me, but I don't think there's anything that can be done, aside from getting new wheels. Oh well, I can still try and keep them from looking any worse.

                  Thanks for the compliments everyone!

Maybe some good compound and a buffing might help with the rims
