I've been looking at the odyssey pc680 battery to relocate into my trunk, and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the equations, or whatever to figure out if it has enough cold crank amps for my car and the sound system in it. I don't want the car to die on me or anything, but I don't need any reserve power, so thats not an issue. I'm told with this battery the car won't start in cold weather though...but I'm not sure if the guy I talked to about it knew what he was saying.
I have an alpine head unit, basic pioneer speakers, a 600 watt amp and a 10" memphis subwoofer. I have a 4300k HID kit as well.
Here are the Odyssey battery's specs:
* 680 cranking amps for 5 seconds
* 595 cranking amps for 10 seconds
* 525 cranking amps for 20 seconds
* Short circuit current over 1800A
* 17Ah
* 25 minute reserve capacity with 25amp load
* CCA - 220
* Female brass terminal w/M6 SS bolt
And the link:

So basically, I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me if I can use this battery in place of the regular battery and have everything work just the same.
