If you're using the stock wiring, most likely it's breaking down. You're probably hitting the right combination of noise level and vibration to hear it at 75.
As far as the antenna, I personally have had no luck with aftermarket internal antennas. If you're replacing the stock one, I would seriously consider repairing it. Parts can be had off eGay for cheap.Bart: What's your name?
Jim: Well, my name is Jim, but most people call me... Jim.

Maybe try hooking a noise filter (cant remember the fancy name for it) to you amp or to your battery terminal. This should stop any unwanted noises if it indeed is coming from an alternator or somewhere in the electrical system. Also most amps have these built in so you may already have this covered. I don't know if you are runing an amp or complete stock system.

it wont screw sound, it will just limit how much goes through, i think it takes about 20 watts out of the entire system.
what is your setup? if u have a amp how and where are your rca and power wires run to?What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

oops, sorry for not stating my setup...right now i have stock speakers up front and pioneer 3-way (i believe) speakers in the rear with the stock wiring...i just cut and spliced them together. the speakers are about 1-2 years old.

stop speeding lol
but actually thats whats keeping me from speeding
and its annoying. it souds like its only coming from the passenger side but its soo loud its hard to tell...as for a grounding issue, i just connected both wires from the speaker to both wires from the car...i figured grounding took care of it self since i had no extra wires
