Acc Wire problems

ok man wen i got my cb7 it had no radio so i installed one and i got the factory connector so i just bought the thing from autozone but it wont turn on with the car like when u turn the key to II it does nothing i have to hook the red acc wire and the yellow battery wire straight to the battery to make it work but i wont the factory setting ....

is it a fuse for the acc wire r sum or should i just run a new acc wire??

The stock wiring harness was in the car? you've hooked the wires up accordingly? red to red, yellow to yellow, black to black?

no i went to a junkyard and cut a harness off and connected it to my wires in the car

Does anyone kno right off the bat the color of the acc wire in the steering column so i can run a wire from it to my acc wire on my radio????

you can catch accessory(acc) from the cig lighter, fuse box(pin output), or igntion harness.
