need help with rear defroster!!!

how can i fix my rear defroster, only like 5 lines in the middle of the rear window work, how can i fix the damn problem???

Do the five lines in the middle work all the way across?

yeah all the way accross and like 2 accross at the very bottom...

The lines are cut at some point then most likely.

Take a close look at the window from the inside, follow all the painted on lines of the defroster.

Odds are you will find they have been scratched, cut or pulled off the window. Either way that portion of the circuit was cut and no current means no heat.

There are repair kits to be found at your local parts store, I can't remember the name of them though.

I need to do this also. The two ways of doing it are either a rub-on replacement line or a conductive paint. Make sure your window is clean.

The Honda manual uses a conductive paint, but that looks like too much of a pain.
