i want a good battery, i'm planning on getting a better sound system, once i fix the damn thing >_> currently i have a pathetic, 200 watt MTX RT202, and a 10 inch pioneer sub bridge. and i forget the model number pioneer head unit, but that will be upgraded as well, i'm thinking of somee speakers that i can just run straight off the head unit, cause the front ones are done, they are ruined but yea, i was thinking of pioneers, cause my friend told me that they have good sound for being run just off the head unit. and hes into the car audio shit. but for right now, a battery how much will one run me, in canada, i;m to busy to goto some car place and find out, just cause work and school, and bleh. thanks.

Re: Battery Dead
It all depends on what type of battery you get... $40-300 US is my guess...Originally posted by Dark Zero

Dont go pionner speakers please.. if your looking for something cheap, go for infinity, you'll be very happy with the results. As far as running them off of the headunit, as long as you've got a decent company, like pionner, you should be fine. They should be around 200 watts, which is plenty for just regular speakers. Get a higher up model so that the internal amp is very good and customizable, more so then external amps.. I'm huge into car stereo stuff, I've got a small buisness at home for car stereo stuff.. infinity is the way to go if you're lookin cheap.. if you dont mind pricey stuff, MBQuart's will get you the best off that you can be really..

seriously thanks dude, yea right now its a 200 watt headunit, or 50x4 so you say infinity, yea my family has infinitys in our dodge ram, mucho bass and clear highs, so infinitys are cheap? yea i will be upgrading the subs and amps once i get more cash and actually finish fixing the car :P like maybe a little more oomph for the bass you know cause right now i have to turn it up pretty loud to get some good thump. i think its a good enough headunit.
so like all together for like a 500 watt sub amp, and 4 speakers, and a capacitor i guess if you recommend it, how much will that run me? since you know..your into this stuff alot more.

I'd say to go with infinity yes. They're not too expensive, but not too cheap either.. http://www.cbrstereo.com/index.asp?P...ROD&ProdID=224 .. that's what I recomend for you. but if that's too much, these will work.. http://www.cbrstereo.com/index.asp?P...ROD&ProdID=221 ...Originally posted by Dark Zero

I think if you've got a 500 watt amp and the 200 watt headunit, you might be fine. If you want to save money, dont get one right away, see if you need it.. If you notice at night that your headlights dim, go for the capacitor. The capacitor should run you around 100 bucks if you get it from www.cbrstero.com ... make sure you get atleast a 1 fared capacitor. They look really nice if you mount them right next to the amp, and you can keep the wiring short.
I'd say i could get you the infinity speakers, but after shipping you'd be better off getting them from cbrstero.. Thats where I got my headunit, it ended up being cheaper through them then through my buisness after shipping...
hope i helped..
