i got the same problem with my girlfriends deck
it WILL eject but won't power

and we had a blown radio fuse, and we check the RED (+) Continous wire and had no current going to it (but hey oem strereo hardness has been hacked so i gotta re-check
    everything

i'll keep you updated if i fix it.

cool appreciate it...also i don't know if this is significant but there hasn't been a radio in the car for a few years, the previous one got stolen...i was wondering if i should just connect the radio directly to the battery just to see if it would turn on

Yeah, try hooking it to the battery. It's such a pain in the ass when you hook up a stereo, get everything wired up properly, nothing is grounding out, all the fuses are good, come to find out, the stereo is shot. So, try that first

i've never done that before but im guessing i just connect radio's ground to the - terminal and the radio's power wire to the + terminal

Hook the red and yellow wire on the stereo together, then touch those to the positive on the battery, then the black to the negative on the battery.

Make sure you don't touch any other wires or the chassis of the stereo to the battery.

i gotta do this on the new stereo im putting in there, just in case it might be show

but yeah it's probally a ground problem make sure you hook up the antenna i believe the antenna is kinda of a ground in some decks and some won't funtion
              without it

success! so the deck is not busted, sorry if my wording isn't correct but this is what i did...

i hooked up the radio directly to the battery and the radio powered on...
so then i tried combining the radio's red&yellow wires to the adapter's yellow (which i believe is the constant power wire) and it turned on...but now i'm stuck and don't know what to do, should i just leave it like that and manually turn off the radio whenever i park my car? i'm guessing that would drain the battery

alright well im calling it a night, i acidentally let the red&yellow wires touch the chasis of the stereo and blew the fuse under the hood, i'll let you guys know if i solve this

i'm going to be troubleshooting tommorow i'll let you know how it goes

if your OEM hardness intact? no ones hacked it? or nothing ?

if it is intact you might be wiring issue. or a fuse issue

Sounds like you are getting constant (red)

                        but not ignition (yel w/red)
                        wat?

look maine.ima a professional when it comes to this shit

run the red wire to the fuse on the top row of your fuses inside the car all the way to the right.....its a 10amp.

Run the yellow wire directly to the Battery, insert a 30amp inline fuse from walmart...

ground the black wire on a screw on the chassis
