do i need a relay or not?

so i bought an alarm and it says it puts out 300 milliamps for the door lock relays...

does anyone know how many amps the cb7 factory power door lock relays require?

im hoping i wont need a relay and that 300 milliamps is enough...

Your car already has power door locks so you don't need a relay. The alarm is just going to trigger the relay already in your car to lock or unlock.

yea i know i just wanted to make sure that 300 mA is enough to trigger the relay

heres wat the install guide says

"The Red and Green wires will provide either a pulsed ground output to the factory door lock control relay,
or a pulsed + 12 volt output to the factory door lock control relay. In either case, the maximum current
draw through these outputs must not exceed 300 mA"

There is a factory door lock module in the driver door with relays in it. You will not need to add aditional relays to trigger the ones i nthe module. What your alarm is equiped with should be adequate.

depends what you do to it but they are normally pretty rugged.
