if you have a auto tranny you can run the cable through where the clutch would go through or if a manual tranny you can drill a hole in the firewall with a bit the size of your wire if using a smaller wire 10 aug or 8 aug you can try and squeezing it when the other wiers go into the firewall hopfully this will help you

Take out the drivers side floormat. Raise up the carpet there in the front of course, look for a little rubber plug, pop it out and run the power wire through there and youre set. Then you can run the wire back from there to the trunk under the carpet and its all hidden. Works like a charm, you can even kinda clog the hole back up so nothing bad happens as a result of taking out that plug.

It's pretty easy to find the hole in the firewall. Then you can run it under the carpet, by the door still under the carpet, and you can't see any of the wire inside the car. I have it going by my dash board too, and you still can't see it. I have wires for my remote start, alarm, door poppers, engine revver, and other misc. wires.

It's pretty easy, and what was said about the hole where the clutch would go.. you can do that too.

I'm telling you, the passenger side is the easiest. Just pull up that carpet, just a little bit and you'll see it. Go give it a try and if still needed i will snap a pic for you.

the only thing about the passenger side is that u have to fish down some wire then find it inside.

i ran my power on the passenger side, pretty easy, i just got a long coat hanger and put it through the firewall..then fished it down till my friend saw it..then tied the wire to one end...then pulled.....

              i run a 8 guage power wire.

the holes are weird....but u will see only a rubber fitting and wires comming out of it. there are 2 only...one on the drivers side, one on the passenger side....those are the only 2 that go into the engine from the compartment....

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

It's incredibly easy to run the wire through the passenger side of the firewall. I did mine with 8g cable, and then later re-installed with 4g as I added a capacitor and another amp. If you pull back the carpet you'll see a round rubber plug, you pop it off, and voila, you can see clear through the firewall. The easiest way to run the install is feed the cable from the inside of the cabin into the engine, reaching around the air intake and pulling it up. Connect it to your fuse, then the fused link to your battery, and you're set. BTW... the cheapest place I've found install kits was actually walmart, they sell a Scoche kit for $40CDN, which I was told by my car audio supplier would -cost THEM- about $80-90... Similar kits sell at FutureShop for ~ $150 in a Stinger brand.

First of all Scoche isn't Stigner. Second there are many 8 guage kits for 40$ Canadian, I sell some, but it's not comparable to a 80$ Lightning Audio or Stinger kit.

I run 1/0 guage through the passenger side. It took me 10 minutes and a friend to pull on the other end, but 8 guage or 4 guage wire is very easy to pass through.

You can wait for someone to take a picture or you can probably pay some specialty shop 20$ to properly pass the wire through the firewall of the car. It'll save you lots of time!
                    CAI soundz so good........
But not as good as a full Eclipse Sound system
