Well, im sure the brain will accept it. Its top of the line, so i wouldnt see why not.
Aaron:
how would you wire it for that? one to chirp, and the rest go off? thats all i needed.
The alarms/sirens I got are audivox... only ones I found online. I'll just bundle a siren and a relay together and sell them since thats how they will prolly be used.
well i have an audiovox alarm as well and it has seperate outputs for horn than it does the siren and im pretty sure there is a way to make it so that when you arm it only the siren chirps and not the alarm...if i am right in this then you could wire the relays for all the sirens but one to the horn output so they would only go off when the alarm was sounding and not just when it was arming...
how much are you asking for for the siren/relay combos?

I got the relays.. hopefully will have sirens early next week. The relays have 5 wires.. there is an 87 and an 87a. Anyone know b4 i try to figure it out on the net somewhere?
edit:
To just run an additional siren, this is how you would hook it up.(may be the same as earlier posted.. but I cant see since im in the edit screen)
30- fused 12 volt source
85- tapping into power wire for other siren(or remote lead)
86- ground
87- power wire for new siren
87a- not used.
I wonder can you wire up another aftermarket one to work in the vehicles stock wiring harness?
I have a Ford Ranger and the theft deterent system sucks. Even if I bump it it wont go off.

That looks right, but they will both go off at the same time if you don't use a timer. One other trick if you want to hook up your horn to go off as well is that you can attach a regular flasher before the power output from the relay and hook it up to your horn. This way your horn will have a on/off sound when it goes off and it will be one more thing for the thief to disconnect.
Accrdkid: You can have alarms hooked up so that they enable/disable the stock alarm as well. Your stock alarm probably does not have a shock sensor.
With the flasher wired in line with the relay they will not honk when you arm/disarm. The power pulse will be so short that it will not have time to activate the flasher. Also with the flasher the horns will not burn out either when it does go off.
lol you dotn need a relay, i have 3 high powerd sirens on my alarm and its co, if u turn it on and it doesnt sound then you need a relay.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.
You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!
