What can I use to cut holes in wood???

hole saw. they go into a drill and cut any size hole from halfi inch up to 6 inch. even bigger if needed.

^^^^ yea your talking about spade bits. they do work well also. theres a bunch of dif bits u could use go to lowes or hd and they'll help ya.

You guys, I meant holes for subwoofers!!!! I installed tweeters in my doors, remember? I'm building a box and I need to cut holes out, or get a template...

But how do you start the hole? I have a jigsaw and built a box with it, but the holes came out awful; there were places where the holes went past the woofers. Obviously next time I'll start with smaller holes and sand them to size, but still...you can't break through the box with a jigsaw. Do you just have to drill it?

that or the bits that look like flat spoons kinda, there are even bits that are an 1".......all you have to do is go to lowes

dremel......with the circle cutter attachment. i did mine free hand with out the attachment and they came out perfect.
