    NOOB Lighting question about bulbs

So I Feel this should be posted in the beginner part but, It wont let me post there any more.... whats up with that?

So I have my dash apart and I am working on instrument panel. I am replacing a bad gauge.

Do light bulbs wear out and put out less output over time? Edit: I know they go bad and stop working....

I told you it was a noob question. I'm debating replacing them with LEDS or just replacing them.

    Thanks

Yes. As bulbs get older they do produce less light.

Since you are already digging around in there, it would be a good idea to start replacing bulbs. LEDs work great.

once you get past 30 posts you move on to the main section.

If you're planning to replace with LED's, i highly recommend spending a little extra and getting decent ones, ive bought lots of shit ones and they fail very quickly, and i dont like always pulling my cluster!

Im not sure of a good source for Better quality stuff in america, which is where i am assuming you are from (as 95% of this forum is)!

      Oni, any input?
sold! But here's my build thread for those interested.
