bridging the amp for my sub?

my brother was saying i could double bridge my two channel amp?
can i only go

or can i go the outers to the sub and connect the two inner positives and negatives?

Thats how I brigde mines. From the positive on channel one and to the negative on channel 2. But you have to make sure your amp can be bridged and at what ohm its stable at.

If you post the brand and model of teh amp we can get the specs and see if it can be bridged or not.
