help! white glow gauge accord cc1

    Hi,
i have a problem with my new white glow gauges. I want to switch on the gauges over my headlight switch but it doesn't work. The control unit from the gauges have a extra switch. This switch needs one signal to work on and off.
Now, my problem is to connect the headlight switch with the extra switch from the gauges.
What do you do when you install the gauges?
    Can anybody help me?

    thanks for your support.

It's a picture of the same kind i got. The white glow gauges works but the connection to switch on/off is the problem.
I don't like the extra switch from the gauges. It should work over the headlight switch.

I have the same problem. Currently I just have a positive wire I am hooking up everytime I drive at night, I need to get it fixed, I like the dimmer switch idea though

            red power wire on guages:
the fuse box in the "drivers kick panel" has a tap in spot for the park. lights.
remove fuse cover and right above the fuses theres a blade terminal, (4 total) recesed in squair holes..i think the 3rd one towards the front of the car is pk. lights
test with meter for 12+ volts when pk. lights are on, and nothing when off..
use a 10 amp. fuse to protect in line where you tap into the fuse box

            black wire
            -ground to bare metal

you could always hide the guage switches under the dash, how often do you really change the brightness-color-whatever they do

usually i put it under the ignition area, that area under there..
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

no problem!!! I was going to tell you about the fuse box area but i know they dont give that much wire so, I thought it would be better to keep every thing close together and not have a boundle of wires running all over the place. I am glad everything worked out good for you
