q logic kick panels

hmm thats funny

ive never heard anyone not like these before.(all cars in general) i would like to get a set but i wanted to hear some pros and cons first. i never had a problem with the way they look but i guess i could find one to try to uderstand why you dont like them.(not that i would do whatever you say!) explain yourself.

i think someone on here has them, check the members rides section. im pretty sure that he has kicked them in once or twice though, and they take some getting used to. not sure though, this is my rusty memory.

i think when the site began someone asked about it. search for panels or something.

i just dont like the look of kick pannels..there are right there in front of you and take up space on the floor. i can get the same sound by moddin my door if i put a 6.5 inch speaker and drill a hole for the tweeter you know? but thats my opinion...i like the clean look. hehe

i like them alot, i havent seen them on any other cb7, reason i got em was i wanted to mount my crossovers somewhere, so when i saw the kick panels i came up with this setup. Only thing is when i first got them i kept kickin the shit out of the drivers side mid cuz im used to putting my foot down there. thats why the sonys are in now until i decide what to do, either new components or whole new system....

If you do it put some crap speakers there first until you get used to it, OR just be VERY careful. I can get more pics if you want, just let me know what you wanna see.

dont they have grills? do they look stupid on them? i asked some car audio installer some questions and he said if you still want to have your stock speakers in the doors and qlogics, its best to use diff size speakers in each. other wise it would be useless. this made alot of sense and im glad i asked. so im stilll not sure of what i want to do. i do know i want them though. did you just use some interior pain on those and how much should i be expecting to pay for a set? i just saw a set go for 60 on ebay and wasnt sure if it was a good price. they were brand new.

i deff. want qlogics with aftermarket speakers. im not sure if i also want aftermarket speakers in my doors? otherwise ill remove the whole stock speaker out of the door. i need to hear somebodies locally because when you start putting speakers in all dirrection you may cancel them out and then you just spent alot of money for just bragging rights. do you know what i mean?

Ok im a car audio installer and the kick panels do wonders for yoru cars audio system and sound staging but if you want them you must be willing to give allot of confort up, they take up allot of room and valuable room. Room that you need to rest yoru fot or comfortably operate the clutch. If all you care about is your sound then go for it but if not then hell no!!!

just make sure youre CAREFUL, especially if you put some good speakers in there

naw theyre not ugly

fiberglass, makes it easy to cut out if your tweeters are bigger

they come with screens, depending on who you get them with they can come with wire or that weird mesh type screen

they actually look really good IMO, and sound focusing is ALOT better
