    Ipod car kit

I don't know if any of you guys have come accross something like this, but I bought it off of ebay. I was looking for a car kit for my ipod that wouldn't cost a fortune, but I wanted something that would charge, hold, and play the ipod over my stereo, this was only about 30 bucks shipped, and it works really well. just seeing if any of you other guys have seen anything like this before.

I personally dont like radio acessories that work on radio frequencies like that. It really distorts the initial quality of the Ipod. Same with the FM Transmitting CD Changers. You also get a lot of feedback from other FM transmitting devices. I dont ever use em'. But its cool if it works for you, bro! Congrats on a nice find!

Very cool...I know what you mean about the feedback and some lack of quality, its not a perfect sound by any means, but its decent for those of us on a budget!

haha it looks good, i did mine the cheapo way,*this depends on your radio deck* on my deck it has amp wire outputs and aux outputs,i bought a *rca plug that splits into headphone plugs* i plugged the rca end into the deck and the headphone part into the ipod, it work really good actually, but imo the battery dies to fast
          a work in progress.....

I use something by Monster Cable. Cost $70 but I've tried three other FM transmitters and they were all crap. This works pretty well. It's rare that I lose a signal or the signal is even poor. Charges while playing.

If you spent the money on an iPod why cheap out on how it integrates with your in-car entertainment system. Go hard, get yourself a Alpine HU 2004/2005, and the Kca-420i. That is the best integration I've seen thus far, and the Pioneer sucks I've heard. Scrolling on the Pioneer HU's suck major balls.

I haven't tried the Alpine personally, but I will soon. Will keep you guys updated.
