Face plate problems

I asked this question on AF but really didnt get any advice.
I have a Kenwood flip face cd player and the face will not turn now. I took the amp out of my car, so maybe that's the problem. When I start the car I can hear the motor trying to flip the face around. Need help

is your unit still on waranty ? if so bring it in. Im not familiar with the mechanics of that headunit but i could be a blet that has been pulled off

we get that problem a lot with the kenwood or even the display goes out completely....if you still have warranty on it send it in...

I really dont know if it is or not...it was bought back in '00 from Crutchfield. The model is KDC-9015 if that helps. As I mentioned before, the cd player worked fine until I took out the amp. Maybe I should try hooking a new amp up just to see?
